These are rare, genuine baltic amber stones with at least one insect that has been trapped inside from millions of years ago.
Baltic amber is a fossil resin derived from resin-bearing trees that no longer exist. The resin was used by trees to protect themselves from injuries. As the resins filled internal fissures in the ancient trees, it trapped insects, spiders, wood, plants, feathers and more. It is primarily found in the Baltic sea.
Each amber piece is small, between 5-20mm in size.
