Darwin Glass in Display Case | Rare | Darwinite | Tektite

Genuine Darwin Glass (Darwinite) in a white display case with a label inside. This is a rare, naturally formed impact glass from over 800,000 years ago by the meteorite which hit Tasmania, Australia and created the Darwin Crater. A fascinating fact about this meteorite is that it hit the Earth with 20 megatons of energy which is equivalent to 20 million tons of TNT!

The display case will come with a base as pictured. The cases are easy to open up by pushing down where it says 'push', so you can remove the Darwin Glass and either re-frame it or use in your own taxidermy art.

Aside from being a really cool piece, Darwinite does hold energetic properties. It can help remove one’s fears and allow growth, transformation and spiritual evolution to happen. It is similar to moldavite but has a more grounding and gentle affect.
